Camping

Spectator camping available. Availability may vary, first come first serve. Specific camping areas will be reserved for Spectators and Racers to camp.

Spectators Camping Fees:

Event Pass- Weekend: $40/ person

(Adults and kids 13 and older)

AND

Camping fees:

Weekend Camping Fee $60/ RV Unit

Weekend Camping Fee $30/ Tent

Senior Camping, 60 years plus. Fee $40/ RV Unit

Backforty Beatdown: An Unforgettable Event for Off Road Enthusiasts

Horsepower Ranch is excited to announce our newest event. Racers can compete in one or all of the courses, it's their choice. We hope this event will bring an assortment of different off-road racing vehicles out to put on an incredible show. From Mega trucks, to Rock bouncers, Buggies to Tough Trucks, this event has something for everyone.

The Courses

 

J Hook Racing

 

For those that don’t know, the J hook track is a mirrored jump course where 2 competitors race at the same time. This course will test your cornering skills and your rigs handling.

 

Obstacle Course- The Heavy Metal Eliminator

 

The Heavy Metal Eliminator course, a true test of your truck's durability and your driving skills. Race against the clock to navigate through a series of trees, rocks, mud and other obstacles designed to push your vehicles limits.

 

Hill Climb

 

Competitors will traverse our hill climb course. This event will be a time trial competition testing drivers skills to get to the top.

Thursday- Early site arrival available 

11:00am - Gates open for Racers, pit crew and campers. 

​$20 Camping fee for extra night for Spectators.

9:00am - Gates open for Racers, pit crew and campers. 

 

Friday- Tentative Race Schedule

1:00pm - J Hook practice runs

4:00pm - Hill Climb Course

Shuttle Service available to Hill Climb

Starting at 3:30pm​

9:00am - Spectator gates open

11:30am - J Hook racing

1:00pm - Halftime for 1 hour

(Spectators to move to Obstacle Course Area)

Approx. 1:00pm to 2:00pm

2:00pm - Obstacle Course racing

 

Shuttle Service available back from Obstacle Course

Approx. 4:00pm to 5:00pm

8:00pm 1:00am- Music and gathering in the Parachute

9:00am - Spectator gates open

***Important Note for Spectators & Attendees***

 

Spectators should come prepared, this event is a bit more spread out on the property and will require a bit of walking in between events once on Saturday and once on Sunday.  At halftime Spectators will need to go from the J Hook track in the main area over the bridge to the Obstacle Course track. We suggest bringing a wagon or some way to transport chairs and personal items around the site. Pit vehicles such as ATV's, Bikes and side by sides are allowed but must be used in a respectful manner.  

 

Please come prepared for any weather. Bring everything you need to be comfortable, sunscreen, hats, umbrellas, jackets and water.

Pit vehicles such as ATV's, Bikes and side by sides are allowed but must be used in a respectful manner.  We have a zero tolerance policy, absolutely no joy riding, speeding or driving under the influence. All machines must be operated at a slow speed and no unsupervised minors are allowed to operate them.

Bringing a Pit Vehicle? 

Please complete the SpeedWaiver before you arrive and have anyone else that will be operating it complete the waiver to.

Race Registration

$100 to $150/ class

​

Registration includes entry for Driver and one Co-pilot or spouse. It also includes 2 Camping Passes for RV's for the Racer and Co-pilot. Any additional Pit crew or Family/ Friends will be required to purchase a Camping pass and Event Passes.​
